About the Artist…

I've endlessly chased the feeling of being immersed in wild spaces. In every season of my life, I've found a sense of peace and grounding there. Over the years, I've observed how I'm not alone in chasing that feeling. In the midst of our busy, modern lives, many of us long for moments that ask nothing of us except to be present. So we wander into forests, climb mountains, step into rivers, and when our hearts are full, we return to our everyday lives with renewed vibrancy. My work exists to carry forward those moments of reverence, stillness, and connection with the natural world.

With an expressionist approach to wildlife painting, I embrace bold color, textured brushwork, and subtle gold accents set against quiet backgrounds. My goal is to capture a feeling, an essence, and an energy on the canvas.

I'm fortunate to call Washington's Olympic Peninsula home, where old-growth rainforests, rugged coastlines, and moss-covered landscapes have a permanent hold on my heart. Perhaps more than anywhere else, this region has heavily shaped my work and always has more inspiration to offer.
