About the Artist…

I’m incredibly fortunate to call the Olympic Peninsula of Washington home. Whether it’s tiny droplets clinging to leaves, the smell of a crisp morning, or plush moss carpeting the forests, I’m endlessly charmed by the natural world around me. Slowing down to observe to those little things brings me a kind of joy and calm that’s difficult to express… but I love trying.

My art exists at an intersection between wilderness and whimsy, and I work to capture the best of both on canvas. I embrace vivid palettes and expressive brushstrokes to focus on the energy and presence of the wildlife I paint. Over time, my style has evolved alongside my curiosity and to match where I am in life. Still, I always find my way back to unapologetic vibrancy and my chosen medium of acrylic.

Though my heart is deeply rooted in the Pacific Northwest, my adoration for wildlife and wilderness spaces extends far beyond this region. From the quiet majesty of local elk to the resilience and wisdom of elephants on other continents, I’m drawn to the essence of all kinds of creatures. My goal is not only to paint them, but to invite viewers into moments of joy, reflection, and connection alongside me.
